Here is to hoping it does not turn out like the last time we played them.

Heart: 3-2 Jackets
Head: 4-1 Islanders

Question for the OP, why is there a picture of the Hempstead Town Hall? NVMC is in the next town over in Uniondale.

Isn't Uniondale in Hempstead? Usually post a city pic, but as getting pics of Uniondale is a problem.

Uniondale is a hamlet and census-designated place, as well as a suburb of New York City in Nassau County, New York, United States, on Long Island, in the Town of Hempstead.

Kid to mom: Where do I live?

Mom: Well, its a long story.

That's a picture of the building where zoning was denied for a complex including a new Islanders arena, which led to their upcoming move to Brooklyn. It's a current picture, so if you look in the window you'll see Supervisor Kate Murray in there denying some other type of progress. It's her 9-5 job.

Did not make that connection. Completely Unintentional trolling, so I found a better pic.

Hey guys, I can't wish your team a mutual good luck as I want the two points and don't like certain players on your team (kind of a compliment actually) but I enjoy you guys as posters so I hope you get some enjoyment out of the game that doesn't involve winning :)

Hoping both teams walk out injury free.

Is Bob starting?

EDIT: read the lines. What happened?

Have 29 games to make up 12 points, while the Bruins only have 27 games left

So..assuming they win the 2 games in hand, that's 8 points in 27 games. If the Bruins go 13-13-1, the Jackets would need to go 17-9-1. 17 of the Jackets last 29 are against current playoff teams.

in the last 27 the Jackets are 15-11-1, so they will need to step it up a little bit. But it looks at least plausible.

The thing that gets overlooked is the fact that it's not just the Blue Jackets against the Bruins. What if Florida gets hot, or even Philadelphia?

I'm not saying it's out of the realm of possibility, but there are so many tangibles that make it very difficult. Three point games are the biggest nightmare - with Boston still having games to play against both of those teams, a couple of three point games could essentially end our year.

I'm rooting for the Jackets all the way, but we have to be realistic. They have to win 20 of their remaining games, realistically, to even have a shot.
