- why was Howden playing so much?
- why didn’t we sign a few tougher players?
- why did we sign Jack Johnson?
- should we have resigned Kreider?
- did we handle TDA correctly?
- gee, could we have convinced Hank to waive his NTC rather than go with three goalies last season? All that money became dead money.

There is no doubt our guys are scared to take on Wilson and Chara. Their fists are real. In the lockerroom we would joke who would take on gorillas like Wilson.

Recognizing you can't take someone in a fight =/= Being scared of someone. No one is scared of Wilson or Chara even if they understand it would be unwise to fight him.

I'm a grown ass man too old to be fighting. There is this turd that is a mutual "friend" that I see all the time when I'm out who is a horrible person. He's a DC cop, 6'2", probably 220. Built like a goddamn monument. I'm 5'8" and haven't exercised regularly for a decade. I know damn well that if I fight that guy, my odds of not getting my shit ruined are like 1 in 100. Am I scared of him? Fuuuuck no, and in fact I once tried to pick a (drunken) fight with him.

You're not giving the players enough credit if you think they're feeling actual fear.
