I've heard Bettman say that their goal is to return to a totally normal schedule and alignment next season (of course, with us moving to the Central and Seattle entering the Pacific as the sole exceptions).

I like the series style. Not sure why they wouldn't do that like MLB. Would save on travel. Just cut down the number of teams you play in the other conferences. Minimum 2 game series and longer for the ones in your division.

Agreed.... I'd like a win just to have something nice as long as it doesn't get Tocchet extended haha.

Also agree with the series style of games being nice. Don't have to wait to resolve bad blood if there is any!
