lmao. yeah comparing shesty to hank is totally fair.
I mean.. Zbad is a 4th line center compared to Messier.
And I think some of that is a team in transition that doesn’t have a true identity yet.
We’re in weird zone where you can see glimpses of the potential, and you can easily see the improvements needed.
whoever said this shit is an indictment on the coaching staff needs to realize professional players getting paid hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars who have also played this team repeatedly this season alone can't be getting f***ing Alzheimer's and being all doe-eyed "golly gosh I guess we have to go to some scary areas of the ice and maybe apply our bodies to their bodies with some speed and momentum".
I'm pretty sure the coaching staff did not lead them astray in the scouting report here, the Rangers are well aware, they're just not gonna sack up enough to combat it because that's not who they are. Sorrynotsorry.
It's not just about production either. The Rangers just don't carry play consistently when he's on the ice.Not really. Compare his % to other top line centers in the league. About 1/3 of their production comes on the PP.
Plus, Hank had his own teams he struggled against. He was terrible against the Habs.
Oh but make sure to play Howden more Quinn
Plus, Hank had his own teams he struggled against. He was terrible against the Habs.
So he did. Wow...Don't tell you are swapping Kravtsov and Howden Quinn...
Hes grittier. I thought this thread wanted to see thisHowden moved up and Kravy down.... just.... wow
That is still on the coach. If he can't get the team to realize that they can't all be like Panarin and Strome, then the coach is a piss poor leader and communicator. It's an easy out to blame the coach, who has publicly called east-west hockey "a flu on the team." The greatest coach in the world can come in preaching structure and fail with this bunch. And honestly, it's because of Panarin. Yeah, he's great, no denying that, but no coach is going to tell a 12M/yr superstar to play a style that's not his. Then the rest of the team becomes enamored playing that way too.
Lol is he really grittier ? I’d argue that Kravy is actually grittier so not sureHes grittier. I thought this thread wanted to see this
Yet another example of this coach having no clue about the pulse of this team. Unreal that management can think hes the guy to take this young team moving foward.Howden moved up and Kravy down.... just.... wow
We want JAM not GRIT!Hes grittier. I thought this thread wanted to see this
Yes, kind of. Their play and coaching too. Rangers don't play hockey that gets teams into the playoffs. Easily outcoached too.
Yes
I don't buy into those stats. I pick and choose which stats I buy into. It is also possible, if they truly were the 13th best team, which I disagree with, that they still aren't good enough to get in past the Eastern teams this year.
Panarin is always facing back when he receives the headman pass so he can either make a quick lateral snap pass or curl and start up ice. Not gonna work against the Isles.
