Yeah I hate Vasi and I hate Kuch. They are killers out there.

Until I put this together, I didn't realize how shitty their lineup is. There are some dark days in the not too distant future for this franchise. When Kuch, Hedman and Vasi age out...they are cooked.

Lightening should be gassed by the third period. Strategy usually in back to back games is to have long stretch passes to keep the opponent moving their already fatigued legs. We still have a good chance to win this one. Keep a watch on the third period

In all fairness, outside of those big saves in OT Dobes didn't have the best game but the team kept coming back. Montembeault has been our number one goalie, they have to give him a shot to redeem himself.

On a different note, I expect a better game from Beck tonight and I wouldn't be surprised if he scores a goal.

Exactly. I like Dobes a lot but people act like he stole the game and was immensely better than Monty. He made 1 big save in OT (the one timer was missing the net IMO) and that's about it. Monty faced way more dangerous shots and the team played like crap in the 3rd.

On the other hand I understand why we should play Dobes more since he hasn't lost yet.

Monty had to play tonight. If he plays average and lose, I could see Dobes getting consecutive starts until he loses.

Exactly how I see it as well. Dobes has been unreal but lets not throw him in the wolves at such an early stage. MSL has managed it well so far so let him do his job.

this is must rebound game for Monty. He was awful vs TO, hasnt been very good or consistent in general even with the team playing much better

Even in a lose, he must play very well or its time to give Dobes a few in a row to see how he responds
