HFNYR Signs EdJovo as EBUTS

NEW YORK--The New York Rangers forum of HF Boards (HFNYR) signed EdJovanovski to be its emergency back-up game-day thread starter. After inking the one-day contract, EdJovo filled in for Loffen and backup thread starter Leonardo87 after both became unavailable.

HFNYR had approximately five hours remaining before puck drop to have a GDT posted for the Rangers-Panthers contest at 7 p.m. Eastern. EdJovo quickly stepped in as the EBUTS. "We play in five hours. Why no thread," he said. "Can't take any chances around here."

EdJovo did not provide any lineups or game-day information when he started the thread.

EdJovo remains in a fight with Machinehead over starting post-game threads.

So if you're looking for some optimism- The Panthers are only 9-6-5 on the road. 2 below true .500. An absurd 23-3-0 at home.

Rangers are 14-4-2 at home. Only 20 of our 46 have been at MSG.

For a lot of teams in the league this year home ice doesn't mean much, but for the Rangers, Panthers, Devils, Red Wings... it really seems to.
