ThankfullyMore worried about Trouba. The Rangers don’t have a defenseman who plays like him.
We won’t make the playoffs, fine. But that pill would be a lot easier to swallow if I knew that Quinn would play the kids once we’re mathematically eliminated. But I doubt it.
We’re not ever making the playoffs with Quinn at coach so no need to worryBitetto is horrible, good lord. Every shift with him out there is a fire drill. Great coverage on that goal, punching the guy in the shoulder instead of making the squirt level play and picking up his stick.
If Quinn is coaching to make the playoffs how the hell is he in the lineup?
I don’t really care that much, I just thought it’s hilarious how the night is going so far.
Hajek is all tools and no toolbox but at least he can skate his way back into the play.
Bitetto is worse than a forward on D.

Andersson?Has a player ever been more loved here than Gauthier, without doing a thing?
Over the last three years, they're 4th in hits and we're 8th in hits. So, technically no, but it's not that big of a deal.
We keep harping on this physicality narrative because we just can't f***ing accept that most teams are better than us right now.
Hits are just a statistical number that somebody decides counts or not. Just a couple of seasons ago Vegas got some credit for hits that didn't exist, every game. The number doesn't mean much. Our physicality isn't based on how many or how little hits we get written down on the scoresheet. We lack hits that separate players from the puck, create turn overs, or just force players to make different plays by avoiding our hits.Over the last three years, they're 4th in hits and we're 8th in hits. People underrate physicality and the impact it has on games. The Rangers have none of it. Can’t have a butter soft finesse team. That won’t win a Cup no matter how many sexy charts and data compilations the blogger boys post. This game is showing that we're not ready for primetime. Need much more physicality and a better third pair. This game has a playoff vibe and we have been found wanting.

Honestly, I can't wait until they're eliminated.
This is a process. I thought we established this.
We have the talent, but we can't compete at this level of hockey.
Youth + Lack of leadership + Average Coaching is way too much for talent to overcome, on its own.
