Bitetto is horrible, good lord. Every shift with him out there is a fire drill. Great coverage on that goal, punching the guy in the shoulder instead of making the squirt level play and picking up his stick.

If Quinn is coaching to make the playoffs how the hell is he in the lineup?
We’re not ever making the playoffs with Quinn at coach so no need to worry

Can we stop glorifying Gordie Howe hattricks in 2021? It's basically a goal and an assist and 5 minutes of possibly a good player not being able to play.

I don’t really care that much, I just thought it’s hilarious how the night is going so far.

What's funny is all the Trouba concern posts. I thought he was more useless than a bag of pebbles, amirite?

Team simply does not have the experience or depth to continue unabated when we lose one of our 'big three' defensemen.

Whether he's overpaid is irrelevant, the way the roster is right now he's indispensable.

Hajek is all tools and no toolbox but at least he can skate his way back into the play.

Bitetto is worse than a forward on D.

The problem is clear. They lack depth on D. Nothing a coach can do about that. Next season, the improvement on D will be awesome.

I can't wait until the ultimate troll jock sniffer defends this move. Honestly, this board has become insufferable lately because of posters like him. Condescending, insulting, and arrogant. I won't name names but fact is everyone knows who it is.

Over the last three years, they're 4th in hits and we're 8th in hits. So, technically no, but it's not that big of a deal.

We keep harping on this physicality narrative because we just can't f***ing accept that most teams are better than us right now.

Who cares about the last 3 years? Half our team wasn't even here 3 years ago.

I can accept it just fine and wanted to sell at the deadline. Since we didn't let's try to win and make the playoffs. Again my point was to play our game which is playmaking, scoring and good defense.

Hits are just a statistical number that somebody decides counts or not. Just a couple of seasons ago Vegas got some credit for hits that didn't exist, every game. The number doesn't mean much. Our physicality isn't based on how many or how little hits we get written down on the scoresheet. We lack hits that separate players from the puck, create turn overs, or just force players to make different plays by avoiding our hits.

With that said, teams are better than us right now.

This game is showing that we're not ready for primetime. Need much more physicality and a better third pair. This game has a playoff vibe and we have been found wanting.
People underrate physicality and the impact it has on games. The Rangers have none of it. Can’t have a butter soft finesse team. That won’t win a Cup no matter how many sexy charts and data compilations the blogger boys post.

Trouba is concussed and best case scenario is he only misses a few games but he could easily be done for the year and we don’t really have another d-man apart from Braden Schneider (who isn’t available) who can remotely do what he does for us. Without him I think our long shot is over.

We have the talent, but we can't compete at this level of hockey.

Youth + Lack of leadership + Average Coaching is way too much for talent to overcome, on its own.

With Trotz we might not see the globetrotter hockey and in fact would probably be bored to tears but we'd be a friggin contender with him. I still think he's bad for the game.
