Why buddy,why? Why would you want to break up the best line the Kings have had in probably a decade? Why would you want to split up the Kings two star forwards and play each of them with a struggling player?

I don't think it's going to happen, looks like Sutter has finally realized how special 11 and 77 can be (about time)

Plus, each guy from the 2nd line has been able to score the past 3 games, so maybe that is starting to come around.

Hopefully Toffoli, Richards and Frattin can eventually break out of this funk, but they are going to have to do it together, from a 3rd line role. None of them belong in a top 6 role right now, and I think DS knows this. The TOI at even strength tells the story.

one of the Detroit writers suggests that for most NHL teams the 'California Death March' usually ends up with a 'bugs on a windshield effect'.

Detroit has a bunch of injuries and Howard's has been struggling. The Kings should keep some of the intensity they showed in the last game and go for a solid win that includes a 2 or 3 goal lead going into the 3rd. And I hope they pot at least 1 in the first, they have a pretty good record when they score first.

It's not like Sutter has a lot more options right now but Frattin isn't an LW and didn't even seem comfortable in the Kings system as a RW. He's not the answer, right now he's the rotating pylon of the week.
Until that elusive LW problem is solved and a legit LW arrives in CA, that is a 2 man line. And TT like every rookie has peaks and valleys. Right now he's in a valley but he should rebound soonish. Maybe today is the game where he gets a solid goal and the winds are back in his sails.

He has to get used to not playing with Carter and figure something on his own. He is good enough to do so. Maybe he should first fix something about his goal against. Richards not playing with Carter is not his biggest problem.

You're acting like Williams is some scrub. Carter can and has proven to be able to score with both kopi and Richards. There's no double standard about ****. If the kings become a 1 line team, like Dallas, they are screwed.
