The good news....Lohrei is finally manning the 1st PP unit.

The bad news......the bottom 3 forwards lines are a complete mess. WTF is Frederic pushed back to the wing. is there any reason they can't go Zacha-Lindholm-Frederic-Poitras down the middle if they want to keep Poitras at C? Enough of this 4th line/energy line bullshit.

Geekie - Zacha - Pasta

Marchand - Lindholm - Brazeau

Koepke - Frederic - Wahlstrom

Beecher - Poitras - Letteri

Oh, and Game 46 of trying to get Elias Lindholm a PP goal in the bumper position. 45 attempts weren't enough.

It will be interesting at least. Honestly we didn't score up front to begin with so I don't think we lose anything there, but that D? holy smokes
Tampa Bay handled them easily less than a week ago. Swayman stole a game for the 2nd time this year and has looked more like himself. This has the feeling of a 1-10 stretch without help being added to the top line.

If they waive the white towel (and this management team appears to look at years and projections way in advance and may have written this year off as a Wildcard/DNQ with eyes on year two of Lindholm/Zadorov's contracts and the salary cap bump as the time to make another addition) Bruins fans will know before the break for the Four Nations if this team is done for the season.

So far it feels like they haven't really checked in and the frustration at that fact is brewing.

They gave a good effort against TB and a couple of self inflicted wounds did them in. TB didn't look much better.

Tonight has a decent possibility of getting lopsided though.

At least there are a few days off before the next game, hopefully whatever is ailing the Charlies will be improved enough for them to play on Saturday. I will still hope for a win tonight.

I’m not gonna say we’re gonna win or anything but hey maybe if defence surprises us or Swayman keeps us in it.
What I am feeling is way more energy coming than what we’ve been producing lately which will be a nice change. This 12 shots after 2 periods is hard to watch need some zone pressure and puck battles won before the 3rd.
