6.5m cap hit. I’d prefer they trade for a young kid but Kreider only signed for 2 more years after this season. If the price is right I’d make the deal.

Be as it may with the shots, they played hard and didn't take any crap from the Florida Phonies. I know they are the reigning Cup champs but what a bunch of Richard's on that team. Hope this game and the Kastelic cheap shot sets the scenario for what Johnny Peirson used to refer to as a "tong war" Tuesday. Saturday afternoon used to be the double feature at the movies for a quarter. Mom would load up the station wagon and unleash us on the ushers for a couple hours. Today's feature show was, "Swayman slays the Swamp Monsters".

Substitute McAvoy and Zacha for Lohrei and Geekie, put Geekie in the bumper, shift Lindholm the right side wall, Marchand down low.

If they can start to get the PP going it should feed over to their 5 on 5 play. Swayman's getting more locked in. Maybe they can turn this ship around.

Couldn't believe it when Pasta shot at the empty net, it hit the post then deflects into the corner for icing. At that point I really figured Florida was going to score. Couldn't help thinking we were cursed. Glad things worked out.

We won because Sway has regained his form and he played really well. He looked great against Tampa, too.

Hope we can start playing better and winning some more. Can't let a losing culture creep in.

Pleasant surprise and the ending felt like justice after the lucky tying goal they got and Pasta hitting the post on the empty net .

Swayman finally earning his big money. If that continues there is maybe some hope yet. Geekie clearly likes playing for his mom. Excellent game from him and wonder of wonders Whalstrom finally scored!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Amazing result considering how much Florida owned the zone time, especially early, and they just hung on and hung on and did just enough. Very entertaining game and nice to see Bennett get the final penalty.
