Team is on a skid, unable to score
Hey they have 8 goals over the last 2 games. Problem is they haven't figured out they need to stop their opponent from scoring as well.

That said, I bet McDrai go scoreless and some stiff like Emberson scores 2 goals and we lose 2-0.

I hope they win tonight, not very optimistic though. I think we should call up Blades, he looks pretty comfortable in net....oh, wait....is that Jeremy in there?

I will always cheer on the Bruins, we have been spoiled for many years even though it resulted in only one Cup. I thought they would make the playoffs this season but now I am struggling to believe that.

GO BRUINS!!!!!!

It is conundrum time. I could never quite bring myself to hope that the Bruins lose. It is always more fun when your team wins on any given night. Yet I am quite sure that they will be better off long-term if the season truly falls apart and the Bs well and truly DNQ, rather than staggering on and just maybe sneaking into the playoffs. As I've said before, it seems to me that greater and hopefully better change is more likely to happen in the former case. So yeah, mixed feelings at this point.

The Oilers are in pretty good shape and obviously have offensive firepower that we couldn't even dream of matching. For Boston to have a chance it's going to have to come from sheer desperation and effort. They haven't been miles away in any of their recent run of losses, but consistently falling short, and in different ways, points to the extent of their problems. How much do they still believe within themselves? And how much do they care? Perhaps we will get some more clues on that in this one.

Team is on a skid, unable to score, defense looks as sturdy as a day old bag of Five Guys French Fries, Swayman has given up altogether, and you're telling me McDavid and Draisaitl are coming to town?
Maybe Leon will double his goal out put tonight? I think he has 29, so 58 after tonight sounds about right. If Sacco keepr Mac off the PP, keeps the goalie in the net, and refuses PP altogether, maybe we get a point!

Actually, Blades looks to be a decent skater...he can dance as well.

The Oilers are a great team.

I just hope the Bs play well and don't get injured.

Their compete issues I think stem from a lack of confidence. Its been evident to often in their blowout losses. Its been better since Sacco has come in. As bad as their offense has been I can understand why. #88 injured, #13 regressing significantly, #11 mediocre play and missing #74. That's 4\9 of last years forwards in the top 9.

Its the play of the D Corp and tending that's the basis of their shocking mediocre to poor play and its been beaten to death. Doubt it gets rectified, in part because who knows if we see #27 anywhere near his early season form If he returns.

Here's an idea...

Put Frederic as our first line center and showcase him.
Hand out 4x4 signs to the fans with sayings like:

"Frederic is great at playing center!!"
"Frederic is a our favorite tough player"
"Frederic scored a goal recently!!!"
"Sure would hate to see Frederic get traded"
" Frederic loves Mark Messier and Alberta beef!"

Then watch the Oilers come a knockin'!
