Blues are in a back to back with travel against the Columbus Blue Jackets one night after Saad scores a Natty Hatty. Blues can not come in tonight and coast or they are going to get burnt quick. But, The Blues have not won 3 games in a row all year, and well.... they are on a 2 game winning streak soooo..... yeah.

Hey Blues fans, I did not see a thread with suggestions for visiting fans. Was thinking about a quick trip out to St Louis for next weekend to see the CBJ play. Do you have a thread...or suggestions for my wife and I for things to do, where to stay, etc?

Idk about the where to stay part, tho there is a Hotel linked with Union Station that is part of the Hilton network. There is a nice Aquarium (Union Station) right next door to the Enterprise Center, Forest Park is nice, there are a few museums and the Science Center within driving distance. Also it will probably be a little too cold but the Zoo is open as well, and the Anheuser-Busch St. Louis Brewery has tours as well.

Things to do? Well, I gotta recommend the Zoo (and not just because my grandmother once worked there before she retired); it's free aside from parking, food, and souvenirs, and it's one of the best in the nation (I believe, since we're in winter, they have an excellent penguin exhibit available.), the animals are well cared for (if you're concerned about animal rights), and it's fun for kids and adults. Just expect to do a lot of walking, and make sure to bring water.

The Aquarium is fairly new (Union Station, near Busch Stadium), but the one time I went there, it was a blast.

Lots of museums downtown as well: History Museum, Art Museum, the Gateway Arch's underground area, etc.

OH, and if you have kids, they'll love the City Museum.

With 49 games left the pace they had to keep was 4-2-1 every 7 games. Then they started the last chunk 0-1-1 in Florida, but did end up 4-2-1. So we're staying with it until they fall off. Tonight starts another one, 42 games left, 6 chunks.

@ CBJ, @ MIN, vs. ANA, vs. CBJ, vs. CGY, vs. CGY (!) @ UTAH
4-2-1 is very doable here

4-2-1 is .643
Blues under Montgomery are 10-5-3 which is .639

Since the start of the 2017 season, NHL teams playing B2B after winning the previous game on home ice by a margin of 4 goals have won just 9 of 30 contests.

There's my random bullshit SDQL Stat of the Game, brought to you by Blockbuster.

Crap opponent not from Chicago = a game full of frustration. Blue Jackets win 3-2.

Taking care of Calgary and Utah is going to be very important.

Take the wife for a stroll down Main Street in St. Charles. Lots of interesting shops and restaurants.
