Kreider really does need some accountability. He’s like the golden boy of the team. He works hard off the ice, he’s well spoken, he’s a leader in the locker room, but his play is lacking. He doesn’t need to produce. He needs to move his feet and use his speed and size. It’s acceptable for Kreider to have hot and cold streaks. It’s not acceptable for Kreider to not be using his speed and size to get in on the forecheck or to backcheck hard or make rookie mistakes in the D zone.
