Post-Game Talk: Game 4: The MSL OT Hour

More thoughts.

Klein and J. Moore had a good game. Especially Klein, who's in general had an awesome series.

Staal has been garbage this series. And Girardi has gotten worse as the playoffs have gone on.

Pouliot NEEDS to be better.

Hagelin is having an amazing series. These games are why I don't like the idea of trading him. Our 2nd best PK forward, a threat shorthanded, busted his ass all game. Imagine his line with someone that isn't Richards in the middle?

Kreider had a really lousy game.

Dorsett also had a good game.

If we don't resign Boyle I'll be furious.

Tis all.

One more game boys. Then the BIG show.

Hell yeah baby! High fives all around.

I think after coming back on Pitt down 3-1 the Rangers are acutely aware of how important Tuesday night is. Such a huge, huge win.

Completely agree. He's so important on this team. People sometimes don't understand his role.

Reason I muse that it might have been the collar bone is that the second that Ramsey guided his arm towards his other arm, he winced in a lot of pain. Went to the locker room immediately after.

Sucks. Doubt it happens if he's on that 1st line centering Kreids and Slim.

I'm thinking it's something like a separated shoulder or the like.

My problem with the officiating was this: yeah, they were calling stick infractions, but that was it. That allowed Montreal to get away with numerous interference and holding penalties, particularly right after faceoffs. Also, little annoying things like how Pouliot only gets called on the stick hold if the ref doesn't call the hooking on Subban.

While they did make some stupid mistakes, there were obvious embellishments that were not called and the standards of tripping were not applied evenly.
 
Im sure someone mentioned it but HAGS was the player of the game. Guy was all over tracking down pucks and making plays. Really has stepped it up for the most part in the playoffs after having some doubts about him in regular season
 
I think millers fine, AV just doesn't trust him. He was jumping and throwing himself in that pile after the game. He also was on the bench the whole time.

Wanna bet Therrien complains about the refs not calling even more stuff?

Klein and MSL have been the best Rangers mid-season pickups since I don't know when.
 
Has been mentioned a bit, and I know he gets his respect...but have to give major props yet again to Boyle. PK was so huge in this game and he just closes down lanes. Great pass on Hags' goal as well.

On the flip side Richards is 100% unable to make a play out there. It's rough to watch.

The Rangers took a bunch of stupid penalties tonight.

But the refs didn't call a lot of penalties against the Habs that they committed.

I want consistency. They weren't consistent.

I've replayed the game winning goal 3 times so far on the DVR and every time i hear that horn going off......its sends chills down my spine.

hagelin has really stepped up. Staal needs to be be better. kreider was off BUT he has bene great prett much every game so i cant kill him for 1 off night. Also him and nash were basically playing without a Center
