Todd has the fundamentals on this roster working and now he needs to unlock the depth. These guys are too good to have these kinds of numbers
Berger/Tarasanko/Kasper/Rasmussen/Veleno just two of these guys pop off and things get so much more comfortable offensively
Last time they played the Jets was one of the the worst games I’ve ever seen the wings play… but this time will be different

I don't think its that unbelieveable. Connor is better than everyone on our team, by a lot. Vilardi is playing at a Raymond level. Scheifele is a Larkin with more offense. Ehlers is a PPG guy. 2nd line C is definitely a weak point but they have depth and high end talent too.
On D, Morrissey is an elite 1D and they have crazy depth. Stanley is fantastic, Pionk is great. And then they've got Hellebuyck in net.

Not going into this game with the feeling of dread, i'm not very confident in a win but i'm confident in a better played and closer game than last time.

Well he’s got Berger going the last 2 (2goals and an assist) I wouldn’t be surprised if he keeps it up. His confidence has to be high. Hopefully he can get some of those other guys actually scoring too.
I am quite happy with Mclellan so far, kinda surprised really how much better the whole team looks in such a short time. I hope they can keep it up. I was ready to give up on them, now they’re actually fun to watch and I’m starting to believe they just might be starting work their way out of this rebuild. Too early to tell, but so far so good.

Since we're back on our feet, wife and I are having a cocktail, listening to some Mark Lanegan. Gonna go get a nice dinner, and come back and watch the Wings dismantle the Jets!
