So... we looked not so good.

We’re 5 points back on Boston who has 2 games in hand. I highly doubt we squeak into that 4th spot, but even if we do we’ll be out in 6 games without a miracle. The TDL is by no means a real deadline for us since Strome has a year left and Buch is an RFA, but we have some decisions coming up. Strome has been really good and I’ll happily eat crow on his production but I still don’t feel comfortable with him as THE 2C for this team when it’s time to compete. Which should be in a couple of years. Now/this off-season might be the time to sell high on him. We don’t know that he won’t continue to be this productive but we can reasonably wager that his value will never be higher. Does management feel he’s a 2C on a contender (complete game, not point production)?
