Since the Sabres have no intention of ever being competitive, can they just leave Thompson in Montreal after the game?

Anderson being able to go is a small miracle. I think we'll be able to see if his play is impacted tonight, and if he looks himself I'll be relieved. 11F is so dumb though. let's just hope whatever trade is on the horizon will fix the logjam on D

guhle still looks so twiggy. Savard needs to take him out for a few bang-bangs.
He's played much much better since we went that route. The last few games Play by Play remarked on a number of his defensive gems. I don't remember that happening like ever previously.
