I am curious when we catch up in games to Minnesota and Vancouver. We are 1 point behind Minnesota with 3 games in hand, and 6 points behind Vancouver with 4 games in hand. Hopefully Doan can get back at some point, and the team will rally and push to the playoffs.

Just look at P%. It's the actual indicator.

They need to do away with points, all together. It's embarrassing. Win is a win and a loss is a loss. W% determines the standings mid-season. Like all of the other sports. Easy.

You're a hero for repeating this so often. They should replace the crawling (and always out of date) top prospects ticker with this, "two-way contracts don't dictate waiver status," and "drafting a goalie high is historically, empirically stupid."

I understand that, but it sucks looking at the Scorecenter app on my phone, and it doesn't show games played. I'm a pretty good Accountant, but when I'm not at work, I don't want to be adding things up(Wins/Losses/OT) when I don't have to. I just glance at the standings the morning after games the previous night.

I noticed there are 14 games in the NHL today...the only two teams not playing are Vancouver and Montreal. Hmmm...might be a good center ice night.

Definitely can't take this game lightly. Perhaps even more so if they're going to have a lot of guys (playing due to illnesses) trying to prove they belong in the big show. Hell, even if they don't belong, many can rise to the occassion on occassion.

I'm just bummed I can't drink before the game, I always love a little pre-gaming. I yell a lot more at the TV when I'm drunk than when I'm sober.
