Disclaimer: “GDT may not be 100% accurate. I got the line combos from your mom. I used to have Center Ice, Gamecenter Live, and an undercover concession worker in each arena, but this **** costs money. I will admit that my pet otter is using all up that money on his worsening opium problem. I try to not be an enabler, but I haven't had a sea urchin problem in months. Then I thought, why should I pay all this money and have a sea urchin problem to appease fans of random teams that I don't even care about anyway? Unless you are willing to take a bunch of sea urchins off of my hands, don't ***** if I get the lines wrong.” - BF

Would love to keep this road trip rolling with a win. Never know what you're going to get with these Oilers though. A win in OT would be ok too, if only to have a 3pt game above that team sitting in last place.

Got bad habits from playing in the AHL last night, 4-1 Oilers.

Great GDT KK, thanks again!

Thanks, it's formulaic and text heavy but that lets me update it at work or on my phone. If anyone has suggestions of anything to add or remove from the GDT, I'm all ears. Nothing too graphics heavy though, since that's difficult to update away from home.

Do we ever not have a circus game in Edmonton?

How can we get the NHL to help us this time? Asking for a friend.

I like it. It's very streamlined. And it can always be 'added to' if you feel like a game needs fancy graphics and you're bored at home.

Anyone who takes the time to make a GDT has creative license, in my opinion. I always appreciate it, especially since I never do it. So, thanks for doing this!

Onto the game, hopefully the Kings can keep rolling. If they can contain Edmonton's top 6 forwards, they should be able to handle them.

I've been saving the graphics for special occasions (Halloween, Star Wars). It would be tough to do every game, just ask Ron :)

Allowing loser points to Pathetic Division opponents is not an issue this season.

Tell me about it. Even if I was in full retirement I am not sure I could keep that pace up. I don't know how some of these posters do it for GDTs on other team boards. Seems there would not be enough time in a day to do that.

On paper the Oilers are about the same as the Canucks. But they are also younger and faster. Which does seem to give us fits at times.

The Oilers are a lot better than the team the canucks iced last night.

Nurse and Leon have been studs.

Yeah the Oilers are wayyyy better than the Nucks, who looked AHL ready last night. I feel like we match up poorly against EDM but its usually a craps shoot anyways.

Uncle Gary's got us covered tonight.

My money's on the Kings scoring the go-ahead goal off a high stick that's too close to reverse the call, and the Oiler's last minute game tying goal is waived off for goaltender interference after a successful Sutter challenge.

at least Yakupov is out so no big scoring celly's

Him McDavid and Kelfbom are big injuries to the Oilers. If they can stay close to a playoff spot (which isn't hard in the pacific) when they get healthy they can make some noise.

Even if the Oilers make the Playoffs, they're not going far.

Playoff Experience > Noise

meant noise as far as coming from behind to grab a spot.
I could see them getting a favorable round 1 matchup if the ducks stay out of the playoffs and then getting bounced 2nd round

Edit: And making the playoffs for the first time since before twitter was invented would indeed make some noise here in Alberta
