The fact that we willingly banished DeAngelo in order to ice this trash third pairing, 5 or 6 games into a 4.8M 2-year deal is kinda weird. If he was 5 games from being banished, why’d you even re-sign him? We’re watching AHL caliber players fill several roles and it’s partially voluntary when we won’t use guys like DeAngelo or Kravstov. I mean, the ADA situation is ancient history and not something I particularly care about (haven’t brought it up at all before) but it is kind of a goofy situation.
