Today, Stars PR wrote, "Yet, 33 games into the season, they still are 20-13-0 and have a .606 points percentage, about the same place they were at this time last year." I don't want to shit on team employees doing their job to be positive, but the cynic in me had to look it up to find "about the same" is also rounding up quite a bit when you compare pace through 33 games.

Last season: .667 points% -- tied for 5th best in the league (109 point pace)
This season: .606 points% -- 12th best in the league (99 point pace)

This difference in pace equals five wins. It's a meaningful drop. What makes us feel like things are down is the fact 39% of their games this season have been regulation losses when last season it was only 27% at this point.

Sharks fans warned Knights fans that Spott's powerplay will simply be shots from the blueline for Pavelski to deflect in, whether you have a Pavelski on your team/unit or not. And it will never change, even when it quits working.

Dunno why anyone here would expect different. Failure to adjust is a DeBoer hallmark which is also displayed by his staff. There's a reason a stacked Sharks team was so good for so long and yet only made the Finals once and never got a Cup, and a stacked Vegas team lost in the conference finals twice but won as soon as he was replaced.

Was humorous seeing Deboer bite at Heika when Heika asked him about minimal change to get the powerplay working.

Deboer very defensive saying they have tried alot if different options and approaches.

Yeah, there was one game a few weeks into the season where they changed up the guys on the top PP for a couple of periods. It didn't immediately work, so they went back to the same five they're legally required to play.

Playing Harley-Heiskanen together in a game like this against the depleted Wild is ridiculous

Give us Miro-Bischel / Harley-Lyub

Tough save by Gustavsson on Harley dead in the slot

4th line dominates again and draws a penalty

JRob hits the post
