That's what concerns me about Montgomery's minutes.

He wants to micromanage Matthews minutes, which is certainly understandable. Yet he is working his best players like pack mules. Exhaustion is not a formula for success. Especially over an 82 game season. Charlie is already beat up, Gryz, Lindholme - none of them have been quite right thus far this season.

They may have their own issues, but again, it's the defensive system, or lack thereof, and failure to execute that is the problem.

Great win, we had better legs. Marchand led the charge, Shatty surprises, Geeky gaining in confidence (his intense look reminds me of Hall), Pasta doing his magic, much better puck movement overall. Ullmark was strong in nets as well. Sad to say but 48 got to go.
