Hughes is better imo

Im a massive Hughes fan, and argued for him over Dahlin and Svech at the draft, but he’s proven to be a liability in his own end. He’s at the bottom of the league in most defensive stats (advanced and standard).

Fox is top tier in both zones, and is a better overall player right now.

I like Hughes, but it's not even close at the moment. He's young enough that he CAN be if he rounds out his game a bit, but he ain't there currently.

All that said, Foxxxy has just as much potential to take his Offense up a notch, and that gets me giddy

Fox is better defensively and smarter than Hughes and Makar. Skating wise though he's not even close to either. If he was on par with either skating, he would clearly be the best of the 3.
