Laf with something like 2:08, Chytil with 1:56.

I know we’re trying to make the playoffs for some reason and stay in the race, as well as bring the kids along slowly and play the matchup game but this is technically Chytil’s 4th year getting NHL experience. 1:56 for him is silly.

he made a couple of really bad passes on the pp. he’s much better when he’s able to move and deceive the defense that way. when he’s gotta stay still and diagnose the chessboard, he doesn’t seem to do as well. he’s most effective when he’s walking defenders and comfusing people. its much tougher to do that on the pp.

They are playing against a stud team who also are frustrated. I think the games are boring but the team isn't shit.
 
Anyone feel we are just playing Blackwell in that spot in the hopes of trading him for something when Kravtsov arrives?

For sure, but if he tries that against a boxed pk unit and a stagnant pp forward corp, nothing will happen. The forwards need to flow with him, he'll be fine if we start doing that. No defenseman could do anything with the way out pp1 rolls out.

If Laf and Chytil barely getting 2 min that period what is the over/under for Kravtsov? 56 seconds?

I'd like to see Panarin--Chytil--Kakko and Laf--Strome--Blackwell (eventually Krav). Couldn't hurt to give it a try, and if the team is looking at trading Strome at the deadline, might as well see how PCK look together.
