Yeah but in that situation with Parayko already committed to the slide you stay locked on the shooter. If that pucks gets through you're likely f***ed anyway.

I saw it as he did play the shooter because he didn't make a move until the pass was attempted, the bounce right back to Celebrini was bad luck

Blues are playing very far apart, trying low percentage and risky plays with the puck. We do this every time against the Sharks. We try to beat them with just our skill and our work ethic disappears.

Playing down to opponents has been a problem in recent seasons

The Blues didn't get enough good chances on either of their 2 power plays. They didn't even get a SOG on the first, wasting the slick, hard ice. They need to do better against a bottom-feeder like The Sharks.
