Couldn't the lineup just be a smokescreen? I mean, at gametime Couldn't he just change it up so nobody knows?

Either way, we have to have confidence in the team, would be nice to see Spezza in the post season after a nice rest, give us what is left in the tank my boy.

Keefe ices them and Tampa will have to match. Refs better stick to how they're calling the games and not f*** us over again. I'll be pissed if they put the whistles away the moment Simmonds and Clifford isn't in our line up... Keefe is trusting that the refs aren't going to let Perry and maroon goon it up. It will be clear to me that this league had it's own agenda if they start letting the game get out of hand ones our enforcers are out.

These guys call half the penalties that the last crew averages.

I like the lineup. Make those fatasses on TBay's 4th skate no matter who they face. High pressure, high tenacity line up. Stay disciplined.

If Holl wasn't going to be on the ice unless he was PK'ing this might be okay.
I can see a night of 5 on 5 where Tampa targets Holl, forcing him to handle the puck under pressure, and he does his usual fumble, then tries to hide behind the net and then ends up coughing up the puck and they get hemmed in for the shift or scored on. It could be a long night. Thoughts and prayers are with Giordano.
 
I think the lineup changes make sense to me. I am a huge fan of Lilly, but he and Gio had a rough game last game. How can Sheldon preach a mantra of healthy competition to the boys in the press box when you don't hold the players on the ice accountable? It brings the best out of everyone when guys know they need to play well to stay in the lineup.

Holl is far from perfect, but he's responded to being HS'd multiple times this season. No reason to think he won't step up tonight.

I like the reuniting of Willy/JT and I think having Kase on the other side will really help that line establish themselves.

Spezz is going to be hungry, and I wouldn't be surprised to see him come out gun's blazing.

Let's get the W and put that pressure back on the champs!

I did notice the 1-6 record they have with him this year.

Honestly it seems like all the referees hate the Leafs
 
I really don’t think refs should change throughout a series. They should be assigned at the start and travel just like the teams do. How are you supposed to have any consistent standard for the series. I don’t think it’s fair to players on either side

Refs are humans and can have bias/grudges against individuals. It would be a bad idea to have the same crew do every game.

Also seems like a good way for some refs to bet on games/outcomes if theyre calling the entire series
