Next Man Up: With Teuvo Teravainen ruled out for the series due to a broken hand, one of either Jesse Puljujarvi or Mackenzie MacEachern is expected to draw into the Canes' lineup tonight. Puljujarvi played in 17 regular season games after being acquired from Edmonton ahead of the NHL's trade deadline but found himself as a healthy scratch for the first two games of the series. MacEachern, recalled Thursday morning from Chicago, did not appear in any regular season games with the team during his first season in the organization, but has prior NHL playoff experience and had a strong second half of the season with the Chicago Wolves.



More Drury?: After Teravainen left Wednesday's game, rookie Jack Drury stepped into the role alongside Sebastian Aho and Seth Jarvis. Drury had been working alongside Derek Stepan and Paul Stastny and the trio was having a quality evening, largely responsible for the game's first goal. Whether the Harvard product will stay in the role or if the forward lines will be shuffled again remains to be seen.

Kind of nice considering all of the goal scoring problems we've had. Hopefully they can keep it up, but it won't be easy with TT now injured on top of Svech, Pacioretty, and Kase (about everyone forgets him). The forwards are depleted so much.
