The New England Patriots and New York Jets will meet for the first of two scheduled meetings in 2024 when they square off on Thursday Night Football. The Patriots and Jets have played on Thursday in five previous contests with the Patriots leading 4-1 in those games. This week's game will be the first Thursday meeting between the two teams since the Patriots hosted the Jets on Oct. 16, 2014, a 27-25 win. The Patriots will host the Jets in the second matchup of the 2024 season on Oct. 27.

The Patriots enter this week's game with an eight-game winning streak at the New York Jets.

The Jets broke a 15-game losing streak in a 17-3 regular season finale win at Gillette Stadium on Jan. 7, 2024. The Patriots beat the Jets 15-10 in the first meeting of the 2024 season on Sept. 24, 2023, at MetLife Stadium.
The Patriots 15 straight wins were tied for the longest winning streak over an opponent with Buffalo (2003-10), and the seven-straight series sweeps were the most in team history.

Overall, the Patriots have 23 series sweeps over the Jets with 16 under Robert Kraft.
New England leads the series 74-55-1 overall. The Patriots are 34-29 all-time in road games against the Jets, including 11-3 at MetLife Stadium and 2-0 at the Jets on Thursday Night games.

The teams have played in the postseason three times – a 1985 Wild Card game, a 2006 Wild Card game and an AFC Divisional game in 2010. New England beat the Jets 26-14 in 1985 at the Meadowlands en route to Super Bowl XX. In 2006, the Patriots defeated the Jets 37-16 at Gillette Stadium, and the Jets beat the Patriots 28-21 in the 2010 Divisional playoff game in Foxborough.

New England is 45-17 against the Jets since Robert Kraft purchased the team in 1994, including two postseason games.

New England's 74 overall victories over the Jets (including two playoff wins) are the second-most over any single opponent, trailing only the 78 all-time wins over Buffalo.

TELEVISION: This week's game will be broadcast by Prime Video and can be seen locally on WFXT-TV Channel 25. Al Michaels will handle play-by-play duties with Kirk Herbstreit as the color analyst. Kaylee Hartung will work from the sidelines. The game will be produced by Mark Teitelman and directed by Pierre Moossa.

NATIONAL RADIO: Thursday's game will be broadcast to a national audience on Westwood One. Ian Eagle will call the game and former Patriots CB Devin McCourty will be providing analysis.

LOCAL RADIO: 98.5 The Sports Hub is the flagship station for the Patriots Radio Network. A complete listing of the network's 33 stations can be found here. Play-by-play broadcaster Bob Socci will call the action along with former Patriots quarterback Scott Zolak, who will provide color analysis.

Another fun game to look forward to like last weekend. Just keep it close and don’t give up big plays. 2-1 start would be phenomenal.

Christian needs to shut down Wilson last week might have been his worst game as a Patriot up against Metcalf.

After SF it’s all easy games until the last 3 of the year which are 2 Buffalo games and the Chargers.

A win tonight and playoffs might be more likely than top 5 pick. We’re talking 7 seed and in on some tie breakers but that’s probably a 2 win difference from pick 9 or 10.
