Stevie needs to trade for a star or tank and draft one. This free agency crap obviously isn't working. 6 seasons into his tenure, he still hasn't acquired a 2C. If Danielson isn't 2C caliber, Stevie will get fired. He's got all of his eggs in one basket now.

This is looking like a disaster of a season. Not firing the coach is just crazy to me. Like this team isn’t good but they also shouldn’t be this bad. The players look lifeless out there, like they don’t even want to be there. They clearly don’t want to play for him, and just dragging out the inevitable at this point is stubborn from yzerman. We all know Lalonde is not coming back and the team is playing horrible, just admit you made a bad coaching hire and fire this guy. It's been like this for years playing in Philly. Better play for dignity against Toronto on Saturday. Another poor game there and it'll be the most likely time for Lalonde to get fired. Three days between that game and the next one.

We've lost around 12 out of the last 17 games or something along those lines. At this point I really don't see any lose being, 'the final straw.' I don't see Lalonde getting fired man.

Best thing to do is trade ppl and "unintentionally tank " this season and get in the top 3. Look for a young enough player that hasn't been in 3 different teams already that teams might be frustrated with can turn things around

Cozens,byfield etc... trading for a star player with 2 years left on his deal and ca just leave afterwards isnt the way to go

We didn't expose Cossa to that performance. Especially the 2nd period. Could've really done some damage to his mentality.

At forward I would start doing whatever it takes to dump these bad contracts and replace them with AHL jobbers. Tenacity, grit and speed is the name of the game. If you can’t score you should at least be able to execute a game plan. Speed needs to win out in lineup decisions. We are too damn slow right now

If Danielson winds up being a 3C, Stevie's entire tenure is an epic fail. Imagine being one of the best centers ever to play the game and being unable to acquire a 2C after 2 tries in free agency and 2 top 10 draft picks. Not to mention Kenny's previous fail with Joey and Raz. Worse yet, the head scout was also a center, as was Boyd "Bambi" Gordon, their pro scout.

Nate does have 10 pts in his last 11 games, and Kasper looks good at time, but neither are able to actually score goals.... which is definitely concerning. I think they could both still be 2C, but both need scoring wingers. Neither of them shoot enough. Neither look like they have 1C potential.

The draft will be interesting, because Stevie needs a center, but the BPA might be a winger. I'd feel a lot better if Stevie had picked Hage instead of MBN last draft, that kid looks like he could be 2C.

Which only really makes a difference as far as the record books are concerned, this team would still suck today.
