That was a really good period.

My one gripe: the lack of movement on the PP is startling and needs to change. Right before the Panarin goal, Fox and Panarin were trying to keep the puck away from the Caps and literally all 3 other Rangers were frozen in place. Strome basically made it an even strength play - he had like 10 square feet of space and his feet literally didn’t move a single time.

That has got to change.

Ever since Knoblauch and drury have taken over this team has just taken over games. The right players are out there, lines arent shuffled, players are accountable, we are playing hard inspired hockey, young players ex chytl kakko laf are all playing fearless bc they arent scared they will be benched or demoted bc of a mistake.

Id like to see knoblauch get a chance to coach the rangers. Keep Martin too.

Me too. The defense is more involved. There is constant flow and movement with and without the puck. Set plays are being called like the one where brendan smith had the opportunity in the slot..

It looks like Knobby is creating an offensive system!

Dull / complacency / going through the motions is how I would describe our 1st half of the season. With some bright spots here and there
