I think icing shouldn’t be called when an obvious attempt at offense simply misfires. When a guy tries leading a teammate and the pass is missed they shouldn’t call that, in my humble opinion. Icing should just be for when a player is obviously buying time on defense.

I kind of agree, but then you've got a call that is always open to interpretation and that never ends well
