Oh ya. Lots of funny sports themed movies, but the original was hilarious. Just don’t make movies like that anymore. Pretty sick of the Marvel-StarWars-Batman-Fast & Furious etc. stuff. It’s been beat to death.

Always down for a sports movie. Probably the only genre where the quality of the actual movie doesnt matter that much to me, if it’s sports related I’ll watch.

Since this curse runs back all the way to 2005, I believe it pre-dates anybody who was part of the organization in any capacity except Kevin Lowe. Not even Katz was with the team yet.

I honestly have zero clue what you’re talking about. Back in my day Pong was state of the art. Anything that requires more than a joystick and one red fire button puts me into a mental block.

Fun fact: I used to bet against the Oilers during the decade of darkness thinking that it would be easy money. More often than not, they would pull off an upset. I should place a big bet against them tonight just to ensure that they win

I still do this. I’ve been told it’s called emotional contingency betting. I.e. if they lose, well at least I made some money. If they win, ok I lost some money but hell if I haven’t paid more to watch them lose.

Skinner was awful in that game so if the boys play anywhere near the level of play they have been playing in the last few games and Picard is just solid we have a fighting chance.
