Yea. Time and time again. And guys wonder why are D is always backing up. There is absolutely no pressure being applied from behind by our forwards coming back. And that's really no surprise because of the gap you described.

I get it. I really do. I’m usually leading the charge to fire the coach. I just can’t be on board with these idiots getting another coach fired. Is there gonna be accountability with the next coach? If so, fine do it but I’ve seen this play before.

Totally agree. Clearly Lavi isn’t holding guys accountable. I think he’s a good coach and fault is not squarely on him but they need a hardass coach who will make life difficult for some of these spoiled vets.

the only argument for firing lavi is that the goal of this team should no longer be to win games, to win a cup. they've forfeited the right to play for a coach who intends to win.
the goal of the coach is now to instill hockey fundamentals, skills, positioning, and perhaps most importantly mentality, in Alexis Lafreniere. this kid needs to figure out how to play hockey. he's not doing it right now.
i'm not saying he can't, because i believe he has it in him to lead a team, but there's no honesty in his game right now and it's very disappointing.
