the problem isn't that they don't dump it in - but the point is that them not dumping it in is a feature, not a bug. The reason they don't dump is because they're not willing to chase. they're not willing to go get it and create that way.

and that unwillingness *is* the issue.

They dump the puck in plenty, but they never have any game plan around that play. They just chuck it as a last resort. They do it every shift.

They went the entire 2nd Gallant year dumping it in 2 on 4 with no adjustments as other teams effortlessly skated it out every time.

That's coaching... but that's also players being lazy and not caring to ever adjust.
