Copp is my hero

4-0-1 this season when Copp scores a goal.
8-2-1 last season
7-2-0 his first season
4-0-0 when Copp scores 2 goals as a Red Wing

This team usually wins when Copp scores. I should have watched the game until the end, because I knew that. Oh well.

I still hate Copp, because he doesn't score enough. Just imagine if could score 40 goals..... If he did, the team would have won 2 Cups already, lol.

Copp is the secret weapon to our dynasty… I knew it.

Has anyone told Copp to just score more?

Why did Berggren played under 7 minutes?
Because his center and wing partner were playing like absolute ass today.

Also there's a crippled HOFer on the roster that needs scoring line minutes... Kane and Berggren have the same number of ES points and one has received far far better deployment than the other...

What should really raise some red flags is that a "rookie" (he's close enough) defenseman that doesn't receive PP time is outscoring every forward but Ray, Larkin, and DBC.

Had to check the stats but seeing Ed with 13 points and a team high +7 is wild. The guy is gonna be an absolute stud.

English must not be your 1st language…
It actually isn't. But even then... it's a bunch of semantic bullshit to try and split hairs between "damn good" and "elite."

You can't possibly come up with a concrete definition that doesn't have overlap between the two terms, so why bother differentiating?

to me, there is the difference between damn good and elite. By using few examples it is like the difference between Franzen and Zetterberg or Kozlov and Fedorov.

Comparing two elite players is a different story. I don't see any difference between Zetterberg and Datsyuk for example.

Do you see any differences between Franzen, Kozlov, and Larkin?

I am convinced that for some reason this staff has dialed back his physical game, and I don't know why.

Going back to last year there are plays that he tries to poke check rather than the obvious play of taking the body.
If that is happening then Mo needs to ignore them. Just go out and play HIS game.
What are they going to do, bench him?

Happy for Cossa and that it was the captain saving the SO goal puck for his first win. He settled down after a nervy start and was great in the SO vs. both Thompson and Peterka, two pretty slick guys. That's a game he'll never forget, one he can take pride in for the part he played and build on. I think we'll see him again this season. Talbot's old, Lyon fragile and potential trade bait, Husso is Husso.

Larkin is 0,78 pts/GP while Kozlov's career finished with 0,72 pts/GP. Kozlov played in the DPE, with less ice time than Larkin. Didn't have the possibility to watch games back in the 90's/early 00's, so I can't say anything about the eye test or Kozlov's defensive skills, though.

How did Cossa actually look? Left the room after the go ahead goal in the 2nd and came back with 5 minutes left in the 3rd.

We played some of our worst hockey in recent years for a good 7-8 minutes to start his career and on top of him being nervous made things very chaotic.

Why did Berggren played under 7 minutes?

Probably being -2 in 7 minutes didn't help him.
