I don't wanna make too much out of one win, but this may be a game we look back and say yeah it was a great storyline start with a comeback/shootout win for Cossa and it was just a sign that he will be very good.

As frustrating as this season has been and how i thought they'd be so much better. There are some bright spots in the future. ED, Seider for your top pair which i fully believe will best THE best top pair in the league sooner or later. A legit monster in Cossa, Raymond has the makings of our first true Elite player since Dats and Zetterberg. ( no hate on Larkin but we haven't seen him hit even an 80 point season yet) . We"ll rid some contracts this year and next year we can see another Yzerman pick or maybe some high end talent. So I'll agree the season is a wash but I'd still like to see some scoring

Seider showed great character. And sniped a beauty. And that slick pass by edvinsson to Larkin made that whole play happen. I think ed is the best passer on the team besides kane. I'm sick and tired of seeing petry or gustufson on the 2nd pp over edvinsson. It literally makes 0 sense.

I also loved the battle in cossa. If talbot isn't ready for Thursday cossa better get the start because otherwise lalonde should be fired (for yet another reason lol)!

I'd throw Kasper in that group as well.

Yes when he starts producing I will

Wait a minute. When he was 20&21 everyone said he would never be that player. Almost as if people have knee jerk reactions

Yet he will be sent back down once Talbot comes back. He’s no where close to seeing much action at this level this year.

Ya I was saying it more in jest. But thank you for reminding me that Lyon will be back eventually

Everyone can hate on Lalonde all they want. But let us stop and give him credit for having the balls to pull husso and put in cossa for the second at least.
That was a plan from the beginning. In interview Lalonde said that one or both injured goalie doing good and probably ready for next game

After he was too much of a coward to give the kid the start from the get go...

He keeps Huss in there and we lose by 3+ he probably figured his ass was canned. Lalonde is terrified right now and every decision he makes shows it....

THIS is the game you're gonna pull out that take?

Go look at the box score buddy

This team would be better off with another 1c??

No shit
He’s not wrong though…1 game doesn’t indicate Larkin is gonna challenge McDavid for the scoring race…He’s our best player, but that simply wouldn’t be the case on many rivals.

There is a MASSIVE range of players that are 1. not as good as McDavid and 2. still first line players.
