F*%# Me, I switched to FUBO this fall and didn't get last night or tonite's game. Oh well another night on the transistor radio, that's how we did it back before Orr and TV38
You will get the games that are NHL Network though, YouTubeTV doesn't have that channel. It works out to be about the handful of games that you miss. One of our tv's has roku built into it tho so we stream comcast off his parents account to that tv for those games LOL

I did as well but we had ESPN+ in the Hulu/Disney package and I added MAX which has some good movies and HBO shows on it. Why the NHL makes it's fans jump through hoops to watch all of their teams games is another question entirely, besides the fact this league has always taken it's fans for granted.

I also had to add Sling for the season because they carry the NHL network which likes to grab several Bruins games a year. I agree it's too much. It would be nice to have a single service which carried all the games regardless of network rights (and by that I mean one that is legal )

If they are going to continue this confusing streaming approach then a single game "ticket" to watch would help both viewers and networks. Services would make money overcharging for a single game but diehard fans could watch every game if they really wanted to. Too simplistic; probably.

I hope that they show the singing of the National Anthem Jim Cornelison is the best in the business (sorry Todd Angeli). Second place to JC is not too damn bad!

Ducking out of work early for pre-game at The Barn. In my seats by 6pm for the National Anthem. I'll be the handsome guy, down in the corner rocking the Charlie Coyle Reverse Retro sweater. Hopefully the boys put on a show tonight.

Seeing it on TV doesn't do it justice. JC doing the National Anthem is a Must Do Bucket List item for any hockey fan.

Is that right?

One of the few things he did properly.

Hated his meh tenure & the jerk who hired him.

Thank God both are gone.

I must say, I expected a chorus of boo's from the Garden faithful upon Sinden's introduction.

Is there a league rule against inviting a former GM and head coach to a team ceremony, though employed elsewhere?

Honest question, no snark.
Was Chiarelli part of the ceremony?

Not sure but didn't he also draft; Lucic, Bergeron, DK, etc? Don't know for sure but IIRC (and I may not) but didn't he acquire Tim Thomas?
I may be 100% off base here (since I don't have time to look it all up) but
IMO when MO'C did it right he did it RIGHT. But, when he did it wrong he really did it WRONG!

MOC did draft Bergeron and Krejci. His biggest move was trading Joe Thornton in order to build the organization around Bergeron.

IIRC, Jeff Gorton technically drafted Marchand because Chia couldn't join the B's until July 1.

I would absolutely love that. I saw these video's on the German U-Boat that a commander from Illinois captured during WW2 and mentioned it to my wife "I'd love to go there and spend a couple days going through the Museum of Science & Technology in Chicago."
So, knowing her she's researching it all.
When we were in Las Vegas in October we were in line at the Sphere and I had a long hockey conversation with a Hawks fan too. So, again, knowing my wife's determination, she'll find a way to make it work.
A (hopefully Bruins game) at the United Center, and a couple days exploring the Museum would be awesome.

Wasn't Marchand already in the B's organization at that point?

Yes from my research you are correct about Gorton, he handled the 2006 draft... and Bruins drafted Kessel/Lucic/Marchand 1/2/3.

Hawks D looks a bit older and kind of suspect. I think in a structured close game, we win. Let's see if they play one.

Also, are there really SIX ex-Bruins in their 12 forwards? That's wild.

MOC's legacy needs to be reevaluated at some point.

I was on the Internet back then and remember that he was hated and considered one of the worst in the business back then, even before the Thornton deal. And after 2005 his reputation went to the toilet.

But looking back, his teams won two division titles before the lockout, he turned Anson Carter into Bill Guerin, Allison into Glen Murray & Jozef Stumpel, picked up guys like Knuble off the scrap heap, built a decent defense core through trades, and put together a really deep team by bringing in Nylander and Gonchar at the deadline in 2004.

I've shared my theory before about how Jacobs and MOC got blindsided by the NHLPA offering the salary rollback card to end the lockout - completely screwing over what appeared to be the plan to go into the 2005 off-season with few salary commitments and the ability to raid the market for compliance buyouts before the rollback put an end to that. Then he totally misread the post-lockout NHL and misplayed the offseason by only being able to bring in old, out of style players, and that disaster coupled with Joe Thornton being a malcontent was toxic. The Thornton trade was the nail in the coffin.

Disastrous end to his tenure for sure, well deserved firing. But in full retrospect the job he did from 2000-2004 was better than he gets credit for. I think if not for the Thornton deal, he probably would've got another shot somewhere as GM in the late 2000s.

I know he acquired Thomas. He has taken credit for drafting Patrice. I don't know about Milan.

Don't forget Adam Oates shooting his way out of town (look it up); Jason Allison, and, I believe, Kyle McLaren refusing to negotiate; selling off much of a contending team at the direction of Jacobs before the lockout; and trading joe Thornton without informing half of the league to make a better deal than was ultimately received from San Jose. None of those acquisitions worked out, save perhaps Marco Sturm.

And then Joe went on to win League MVP the very same season he was traded.

If anyone can clear up the initial questions, please do. Credit to 0C will ensue from this corner.

Thanks! I knew they parlayed the Thornton haul into what ended up being Ference and Seidenberg when they traded Brad Stuart and Wayne Primeau but couldn't remember if it landed us Lucic as well. It did not.

One of MOC's biggest failure's was not finding a #1 dman after RB77 was traded out of town. The guys they tried as top pairings just never panned out: Jon Girard got into the car accident that ended his promising young career, Brian Berard needed GPS to find his way back to defend in his own end, they couldn't resign Sergei Gonchar, Nick Boynton never progressed beyond a decent 2nd pairing guy, Dan McGillis wasn't good enough, Brian Leetch was too old, Brad Stuart couldn't build on his one good year. For a franchise that has a history from generation to generation of having some of the very best bluelines in hockey, it was a big black mark on MOC's legacy, at least with the local folks.

MOC having the balls to trade Joe Thornton to build around a very raw Patrice Bergeron took absolute balls of steel. He doesn't get enough credit for recognizing what a special player and person Bergy was and is.

Jeff Gorton also needs to be re-evaluated and given his flowers for drafting Kessel/Lucic/Marchand and holding down the fort while Chiarelli finished with Ottawa.

Bottom line is that MOC laid the groundwork for Gorton and Chiarelli to come in and revamp the franchise and ultimately win in 2011.

One of MOC's biggest failure's was not finding a #1 dman after RB77 was traded out of town. Brad Stuart's issue was that he was dealing with custody shit which is why he got traded to Calgary by Chiarelli

Welcome to the Jungle
I have complained about NESN360 enough on this forum so I feel like I should come back and say this year I have had no issues with what is delivered. The stream has been consistently good. I roll with Hulu live and NESN360 and this year I don't think Ive been forced to miss a single game.

When I was on xfinity it was as bad as NESN360 with the stream. I don't know if that was cleaned up as well. I will take what I have now either way.
