- Sean Farrell is back at practice with a non-contact jersey

After getting trounced 7-1 by the Hershey Bears, Hughes had to act in order to address the goaltending situation. He ends up signing veteran goalie Kaskisuo to a PTO. He spent the last two years in the SHL. He has yet to play this year. Dobes has been stellar lately, could be a sign of things to come with the prospect, but Laval couldn't afford to continue with Mann as the back up.

We'll see how good Kaskisuo will do during his PTO (it definitely can't hurt more then continuing with Mann). At some point, he wasn't far from being NHL-ready. He was even a thorn in Laval's side when he was a goalie for the Marlies. In games where Laval were by far the better team, they ended up losing because Kasimir was practically unbeatable. When COVID hit, he ended up leaving North America to return to Europe, which kind of halted any chance he had at maybe becoming an NHL goalie.

I hope I remember to tune in. :help:
I've probably missed two or three games because I got involved in doing other stuff and the attraction wasn't strong enough to pull me away.

Roy has an assists, his 14th of the season on Bisson's 2nd goal.

Bisson ties his career high in the A in like 40 less games.
Tobie was signed to his first NHL contract by LA last year. He returned to Habs organization this year. I wonder if Tobie is his official first name. pretty unique name for a guy from Rosemere!!:)

3-2 Laval. Mailloux and Roy assisted on a goal from Gignac (rhymes with Cognac!!).

Missed the game. After 9 losses in a row, Laval has won 3 of their last 4 and have picked up points in 4 of their last 5, picking up 7 pts out of a possible 10.

Dobes in his last 4 starts:

.923
.962
.933
.931

Then he had a game where he got pulled and had a .571 SV% , but the game before that he had a .914.

So in 5 of his last 6 games, he's posted a .914 or higher.

Roy with 5 pts in the last 5 games,
Mailloux with 12 pts last 18 games,
Dobes wins 3rd in a row (only 6 wins all season)
Xhekaj playing well defensively

Farrell should be back in a week or so, wait to hear if they will opt to send Jordan Harris down for a 2 week conditioning stint or not, I don't see why they wouldn't but haven't heard anything.

Roy 1st Assist - 7:38
Roy 2nd Assist - 8:52

Thanks again for these!

At some point Mailloux's gotta stop the hip check's at the blue line or get better at timing it lol. One thing about his defensive game is that it doesn't seem that much worse, at this point anyways, than it was last year in junior. So there must've been some improvement there but I'm not the best judge.

Great assist though. He's got another two seasons to work out the kinks defensively. Hopefully he can get it to a passable point. He's projected for 39 pts. PK had 53 in his rookie year. Would be cool if he can keep it up and close that gap. Would be interesting to see who had the better teammates out of the two as my mind's foggy about our line up in Hamilton back then.

09-10 Hamilton Bulldogs had David Desharnais before he became famous. Also Brock Trotter who I seem to remember people being excited that the Habs signed as an FA out of NCAA, he was good in the AHL but only had a couple of games in the NHL.

Right! I remember that DD-Trotter-White line had a few tries with the Habs and looked pretty okay for like 15 seconds if memory serves.

Was Darche in Hamilton by that point?

According to EP, it is indeed his name (they usually have the official name in case of people who have others). In his case, he removed the Paquette from his name in the AHL records so if you go to the AHL, he's now just Tobie Bisson but EP still has the mention a.k.a. "Tobie Paquette-Bisson".
