This team is in such a peculiar place right now, super early in a rebuild performing probably above expectations which as a fan I think is bad. Because we are expecting them to win more then they lose. however the pragmatist in me knows it’s good for the rebuild draft position.

Now to my point lol this giving up a goal after they score a goal is frustrating as hell and I don’t think its necessarily a coach only or player only problem it’s probably a combination of both. I get the coaching staff wants them to play responsible game and defend a lead but this team is much better playing peddle to the metal and coming in waves. There needs to be a balance between the 2 because it’s a critical time in development for the franchise really going run the risk of being like Edmonton and just try to blow the doors off of everyone and that rarely leads to a cup

Not to the same extent though. He railed on Smith for turning it over, then very passively/dismissively said "Ferraro should've been the last man back to cover for his teammates" before going right back onto Smith.

The issue is that when he criticizes a kid for a mistake it's awful and unforgivable and they need to be taught a lesson about not doing that again. When he criticizes a veteran it's like "well, he didn't make the right play this time but he'll get it next time and he makes good plays otherwise" even if it's something that player does all the time.
I think there's a reason he's a color commentator and not a coach.
