Up until the 2 Avs games and 2 Coyotes games, it was certainly up there. I too am surprised it went down so quickly but the fact is that we have only played 8 games against non-playoff teams from last year. (Only 5 if you count the Bruins missing on a tiebreaker and the Habs).

I would say based on that its a bit too much swayed by our most recent games.

I really hope we win our next two games, because frankly I expect us to get destroyed by the Oilers like we always do.

I'd only seen people say our opening stretch was the hardest, I don't think those comments were regarding the entire season.

Who could be out of the lineup? It has to be someone on the right side, or else I would have to think that Hannikainen would be put back into the lineup. So that would mean one of Foligno, Atkinson, Anderson or Gagner is banged up.

I'd only seen people say our opening stretch was the hardest, I don't think those comments were regarding the entire season.

And I think our view that the opening 16 was a killer was based on last year's results and some of the strong aren't that anymore. I mean, heck, we beat most of them.
