Hopefully Schroeder has a good game - even in his current slump with terrible linemates, he's been more effective than Ebbett.

This would be understandable if lapierre was lighting it up, but what exactly has he done on the 3rd to make schroeder a target for the hot seat playing on the 4th line? He should look no further then his 3rd line center as his first target for the hot seat, but I know....lapierre has av's trust which excuses horrible play.

And what does av expect a play maker to do when hes centering grinders? Give him more then one shift with booth and kassian, see how it goes, give him an entire game maybe, perhaps a couple like hes given lapierre. Its not like lapierre has anything to show for it centering that line anyway. Then put schroeder in the hot seat or send him down if he performs worse then lapierre, but i dont think he will.

Schneider starts again, and he's looked less than stellar in his last 5 outings. Also, in that article about the player only meeting, no quotes from Luongo and Schnedier was the one talking to media

Feel so bad for Luongo. He needs to be treated better. Just trade him already.

I don't think we will see Luongo in net any time soon. When's the next back to back?
