I genuinely believe having no coach at all would be better than Derek Lalonde
It's their defensive way, sit back and get scored on. Because they are afraid of getting scored on, makes sense right?Another 5-4 loss awesome. Just let them skate in
I would rather they lost in regulation.
Most predictable teamFischer can’t make that play, wth.
That 1st period and then lose everything in the 2nd. 5-4 loss incoming.
And nobody on the ice for the PK just the goalie would be betterI genuinely believe having no coach at all would be better than Derek Lalonde
Nobody wants to come here. Also no way would I give him 7 years. So we signed Patrick Kane and Vlad Tarasenko to flesh out our secondary scoring and not DeBrusk this offseason.

If you were a 27 year-old DeBrusk would you have signed with Vancouver or Detroit?

Eh, just because he scored some fluke goals today doesn't mean I'd take him and that contract in Detroit. So we signed Patrick Kane and Vlad Tarasenko to flesh out our secondary scoring and not DeBrusk this offseason.
Are you saying you don't like Derek "we were not supposed to be here" Lalonde? This team needs an inspirer of men more than anything. Play with some belief

If only we didnt have so many bad contracts already, I'd be willing to gamble. This is probably why good free agents don't want to come here, no?
Gotta pay the cost, and you get what you pay for in free agency. DeBrusk would be Detroit's 3rd or 4th best forward.
Almost a third of the way through the season, PK worst in the league by far. in 25th place in the standings.
Seems like it's getting time to pull the rip cord on the season. Especially if Talbot is out for any length of time.

Misa?Same. As horrible as losing is, I'd rather *really* tank and have a shot at someone like Misa than get the 10th pick.
But....but......we're an original six franchise with a cool logo. Isn't that enticing to free agents? If you were a 27 year-old DeBrusk would you have signed with Vancouver or Detroit?
It's not like Detroit can sign whoever they want and the player has no say.
He'd probably be a 40 point guy in Detroit. Like, he was a 40 point guy in Boston and he'll probably end up between 40-50 in Vancouver this year too. He'd be either on line1 or 2 and PP1 in Detroit and likely be a 60+ point guy. That's what 60 point guys are worth these days, my dude. 19 points in 23 games for DeBrusk this year.
