I have no idea what will happen.

The Oilers *should* come out hard and guns blazing, but I can see them coming out the complete opposite. They worked hard in that Rangers game.

ARI/UTAH always play us hard

They also have far more firepower than we do.

And we never win there anyway.
Avs are pretty inconsistent this year. And can be a bit of a clownshow defensively. I don’t mind our chances. Avs at their absolute peak is a beast that should scare any team though. But so are we and we aren’t at our best yet.

I guess this is the point we're at.

I'd keep Drake Cagguila in the lineup if Management continue to sit nicely.

Drake has been more of an impact player than most of the bottom 6 currently. Which doesn't say much. The little guy plays a heavy game that's needed, lots of energy, finishes his checks. Nothing but regained respect for him since he first suited up for the Oil in 2016.
He hasn't been much. Its 2024 and if I had said Drake Caggiulia would be in our lineup people would tell me to get f***ed. ;)

He's occupying a spot. He allows other players to get some rest on the bench. Thats about it. He's not a bad player, for the AHL.. But yeah the bottomsix haven't been much.

f*** the Coyotes.

...Oh, wait, I guess we're not doing that anymore huh.
No more Coyote howls. What do they even do in Utah? More than a hockey question.

Real story. Some triggered Utahian (what do they even call themselves) started a list of what to see in Utah in response to it being boring and said to visit "Bonneville Salt Flats" Possibly the most boring place on the planet. Apparently this person was serious. This is their actual list. Not compelling. I would visit the Arches. She puts that way down the list after milkshakes and fast food and looking at more temples...No thanks, I've been in Cardston. The Beehive state. Yakupov could have played here.

It's funny how good teams like VEG/EDM are bottom 5 in PP opportunities this year.

Shit teams like SJ and OTT are #2/#3 and Montreal is #8

These are teams that routinely get outplayed and have less O zone time

Which is good, I'm glad they're getting him reps, it also shows the coaching staff is not happy with the tenders.
I'm not so sure it means anything of the sort. They have games on back to back nights in the two cities with the highest elevations in the NHL. All of Pickard's starts with one exception have been vs teams that were bottom 5 at the time the teams played, so with the 26th place UHC tonight and a Colorado team that's starting to get on track tomorrow night, this is about as scheduled a start as one could guess.
