Barron is a disaster out there… also soft as butter for not engaging Olivier after that hit on his captain. I’m good if we trade him. You can’t teach that.
Barron belongs in the AHL simple as that. He's an pseudo offensive dman who can't produce any offense, he's soft and hes brutal defensively. The only thing Barron manages is to make are suicide passes .

So just got back, I see the lines were changed. Slaf with Dvorak and Gallagher? Dach with Andy and Roy?

And Slaf got his 2nd goal of the season. He all saw you saying Cooley was better after last game!

Hughes was fine in his first year because he was next to Tanev, but he was awful defensively for the first half of the second season but fine ever since.

He was bad for longer that. He was terrible during the covid season. He's had to use the off-season to work on his defense. He's talked about it in interviews.

Barron is cementing his place on the pressbox and the trade block, but at least its clear. Some might argue that it will take him way more time to become anything decent, and while I don't disagree he doesn't fit montreal's window at all. I think plenty of orgs could turn him around and they know it. Wouldn't be surprised if we got a fair return for him.

Maybe Pittsburgh bound? I know Sid loves him.

oh please, there's some who where crying they didn't draft Cooley because of yesterday's game, it isn't some constructive concerns or comments on his play.
Yeah I get that but painting everyone who says something even remotely negative about him as haters doesn't bring anything to the table either

It's not complicated

We've got Trade Ammo and Cap Space.
Plus a high pick.
Plus who we drafted last year.

A serious top4 RD is the #1 thing on management's list, and they're going to be doing something about it
Obviously.

but Reinbacher? Is he serious enough?

Yes that's the season I'm talking about, he got significantly better after the first half of the COVID year. He also had horrible d-partners in that season. I've been watching the guy since forever and he's been more good than bad defensively.

In The Lab.
Barron just had a bad concussion recently and Olivier's one of the toughest enforcers in the game. Barron can't be tangling with him. That's Arber's job.

Yeah… I don’t agree at all. He needs to respond right away. Immediately. I don’t care if he hugs Olivier and holds on for his life. He has no dog in him.

Also, suggesting it’s on Xhekaj alone is a bigger issue but I won’t get into that
