Really starting to worry about him. He's been a nonfactor outside of that one or two game stretch. Not making plays, just kind of existing out there. He goes to the net but doesn't really create space. Trying to grind out goals but its not his game. idk

Yeah been very unnoticeable most nights/shifts. Has like one moment or two every couple of games and then goes very quiet. Not good, not bad, just quiet. His game so far at this level is completely different from what his game is at other levels. Outside of the PP it's not like his role is any different either. Even playing with Stankoven a good amount like he did in the AHL. Half the time it feels like he barely ever touches the puck, and certainly not in offensive areas very often. Not a good sign when Bäck is generating more chances

Still early and he was slow to adjust to the AHL too IIRC, but he doesn't have that same presence so far at the NHL level. I still think he'd be good on the PP but he needs to do something to earn that opportunity and he definitely isn't yet. He's lucky the competition is very limited for that last roster spot.

Not sure if he needs time to adjust to the speed of the game or if he needs to go back down to the AHL. Not much he can do down there that would benefit him up here though. Hope he can figure things out

Tbh, I was always slightly worried his offensive game wouldn't translate at even strength. Was never concerned about his PP play but was concerned he'd be a PP specialist type of depth guy. His hockey IQ is his best asset and it isn't showing up enough at this level yet consistently enough.
