SJ is a horrendous road team -- 6 goals total in 10 road games. The Bs certainly should have won convincingly tonight. Hohum first pd. Dominating second pd. Huge PK to start the third pd and took care of business until the final horn. Not an overly impressive performance, but it was enough to win comfortably, with some good truculence thrown in.

The Poitras line looked excellent. Heinen showing his value in that he can step up into the top 6 when needed and do just fine. More than fine tonight. Great game from him -- a goal that sparked the team, first on the scene to go after Smith, and even made a fairly good hit. Poitras also with a solid game. He's looking more and more confident.

Bs will need an even better effort on Saturday.

Nice to snap the losing streak even if it was against the Sharks

I'm not surprised Swayman had a shutout after Monty pissed him off...and it was good to see the guys have each others backs

..next game against the leafs should be interesting

SJ might not be a true test but for the love of god Monty keep these lines together for a few games and see if you have something ....and if you do ..stick with it for a bit before teams figure out how to counter. Decent game, liked that they showed some pack mentality.

The Sharks are so terrible that if a said team doesn't beat them bad enough, that said team could go down in the power rankings.

Off topic:
How bad is the NFL?

The Cowboys have won 9 games so far and none of those wins were against a team with a winning record.

Even though his stick was under the Shark, honestly surprised he got away with that for as long as he did without getting an interference call. Kept looking at the ref to put his arm up given the way some of the calls were going at that point. Charlie must have mesmerized the ref with his right hand and prevented him from calling a penalty.
