I'm actually loving Toffoli on the 3rd line, he brings such a offensive danger there. I'm having good vibes again, sorry for the negativity earlier... good job! Against a playoff team, it's always nice to be tied.

It's so awesome to watch actually good veterans like Toffoli, Granlund, and Walman instead of Zadina, Hoffman, and Burroughs. Obviously the kids are the most important parts of the franchise but our vets this year are genuinely fun players and people.

I had the same thought watching Wennberg on a shift. Every line actually has guys who are trying hard, defensively responsible and have a fair amount of skill, it’s a balm after the shitshow last year. That third line (2nd) with Toffoli and Wennberg particularly feels like a really good group of vets.

Those are the kinds of plays that make me think Eklund could drive his own line someday
I agree and would like to see Eklund being the LW for Smith in the future really solidifying that line.
Celebrini is probably going to get one of Musty or Cherny there if they hit.

I almost included Wennberg on that list too, he's just really solid. Really something we needed.

I'm even vibing with Cody Ceci, which I guess goes to show how Shark-pilled I am right now.
