In the 90/91 season the Bruins put up 73 shots against Quebec in a 3-3 tie. Most since modern records were kept in 1960.

In 2023 Carolina put up 67 vs Nashville and LOST 5-3.

Remember when Kreider-Trocheck-Kane and Panarin-Zibanejad-Tarasenko were playing really well? Then, Gallant swapped Kreider and Panarin for no reason, and both resulting lines were an absolute war crime? And we won a game in Carolina where we were awful but Panarin scored four goals, and Gallant thought he found the fountain of youth and rode those lines to a first round exit?
