Actually, even if they manage to play a decent game I think first 10 minutes or so team is going to be sluggish. Montanbo will have to keep them in the game before they get going. Hopefully.

And Slaf and Guhle... keep your heads up, FFS!

Don't give them excuses.

Don't give them excuses.
We pulled out one of our best games last season against LVK on the road.
A well rested team at home against a team playing 3 in 4 leaves no room for excuses.
We have to come out and make it very evident from the get go that the neutral zone belongs to us.
If we can play competitive hockey between the lines we should be able to take their game from them and cause them to lose interest.
This is how to discourage a tired team and make it easy for them to take a night off.

Yeah, if we win and depending on other games, it's possible we could jump from 16th in Eastern Conference to 11th, passing 5 teams. That would take us from 3rd overall to 10th in draft position.

There's a lot of mediocre teams.

Ottawa is having their annual November crash. I really hope they don't end up with one of Misa, Hagens, Martone or Schaefer.
I dunno, looking at Ottawa's team of talented individuals if they picked before us they might just weed out the prospect with the least heart and compete

Got to stretch tonight's game importance:
  • 20th game (1/4 of the season).
  • 4-day break for the habs, 3rd game in 4 night for Vegas.
  • 1st team in Pacific vs. last in Atlantic.
  • Important injuries for Vegas.
  • A win in regulation would mark the first time they win three straight game with the same goalie since March 2019. That would be huge for Monty.
  • A win would give a huge confidence boost before facing so-so teams (7 of our next 9 matchups are against teams with .500 or under records).
  • Big audition night for the 4 Nations Face-Off for the habs (Suzuki, Caufield, Armia, Montembeault), not so much for Vegas.
GHG!

Game on Monday and then Saturday
Man what is this shit lol

It's sposed ta be Tuesdays Thursdays Saturdays how f***ing hard can it be lol

Would loooooove to win this one tonight boys
Vegas feels like a rival now

In a way, it's good. It's good for consumers to feel an itch rather than over consuming in a short time.... makes the games feel more special.

The league plays way too many games in a short time and it hurts the quality of the product on many nights, but nothing will change because its not at the point where it seems to sway the customer to a meaningful extent.
