Ottawa made the mistake to volunteer to play the Knights after the Knights’ were crushed by the Leafs.

Played a great 45 minutes until the inevitable Samsonov brain fart leading to the first goal and then an Eichel blind back pass at his own blue line turned a blow out into an ass clencher. It's kind of impressive they are only 1 of 2 teams not to have allowed 2 power play goals in a game and yet at the same time have a PK that's been in the 70's the entire season.

Yep, dominated the first 45 and then sat back and almost got tied up with the inevitable OT loss. Biggest problem though ids lack of finishing - game should have been a laugher if we could have scored on a few of those grade A chances.

What do we think of the pairings that are possible?

Theodore-Pietrangelo
Hanifin-Whitecloud
McNabb-Korczak
This seems to be a possibility with what they've tried when healthy.

Hanifin-Pietrangelo
McNabb-Theodore
Hague-Korczak
They've run similar in the past.

Hague-Pietrangelo
McNabb-Theodore
Hanifin-Korczak
Or possibly balance the pairs with something like this.

Hutton, Hagg, Cormier as extras.

Surely one of Hague or Whitecloud get traded to bring in a young second line winger it would seem.
